Mick & Caron Lee welcome you to The Blue Lion, a traditional village pub on the Peddars Way footpath in the centre of North Pickenham.
About The Pub
- We serve a range of fine ales, wines and lagers. Greene King IPA is the session beer and there is a guest ale weekly, featuring beers from local breweries, such as Humpty Dumpty Reedcutter and Worth The Wait from the Beeston Brewery a few miles away, as well as those from further afield. Dark Mild is part of this rotation. The Blue Lion featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for 2007.
- There is a large beer garden for the warmer months and a blazing log fire when it is colder. The pub is noted for its friendly welcome from hosts and regulars alike. Walkers and dogs are welcomed.
- Traditional pub pursuits of darts, dominoes and pool are available. A Darts Team runs in a local league. Many local groups also meet in the 'Blue', including the WI, a whist group and the Parish Council.
- Live music takes place every six weeks or so.
- It is hoped that a restaurant will be opened in the future.
